The TerrAlign management team, and its employees, all have years, if not decades of relevant sales optimization, consulting and software development experience. The TerrAlign team is led by:

Jim Brown, President, joined TerrAlign in 1988. During his tenure at TerrAlign, Jim has served as principal consultant in various industries, including pharmaceuticals and consumer packaged goods, and he continues to lead TerrAlign's consulting practice in the vision care industry. Jim also has extensive technical experience, having contributed to early development of the TerrAlign software and to various proprietary algorithms used by the TerrAlign software today. In 1995, Jim assumed leadership of TerrAlign as Divisional Senior Executive, during a time when TerrAlign was a division of Metron, Inc. In 2002, TerrAlign became a wholly owned subsidiary of Metron, and Jim was promoted to President. In 2004, Jim lead the transformation of TerrAlign into a completely independent, employee-owned entity. Mr. Brown holds an MBA from the Darden School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Virginia.
Jean-Yves Kainic, with TerrAlign since 1997, oversees all of Sales & Marketing and directly manages our efforts in the life science's vertical. He has over 15 years of experience providing solutions in geographic deployment and sales force optimization to companies in the U.S. and Europe. Prior to joining TerrAlign, he held project management positions with a prominent European data provider and a leading US based sales force effectiveness consultancy, both with a primary focus on the pharmaceutical industry. He holds an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a BS in Business Administration from the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce in Reims, France.
Ken Kramer joined TerrAlign in 2006, and is responsible for creation and management of strategic partnerships, along with all outbound marketing efforts, including analyst and public relations. He has been bringing new products to market, and targeting and developing successful partnerships to aid in these efforts for the past 15 years. Prior to TerrAlign, Ken held senior management and director level positions at leading enterprise software vendors in the CRM, Sales Performance Management, ETL and GIS markets for vendors such as Siebel Systems (now part of Oracle), Centive, Ascential Software (now part of IBM) and MapInfo. Ken has an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Bachelor of Science from Bryant College.
Nishan DerSimonian, having joined TerrAlign in 1989, has a wealth of experience which he leverages to directly benefit our customers, by managing our Client Services group. This includes strategic alignment services, project management, technical support, and training. Prior to this role, he was a major contributor to designing and writing product specification for our development team. Before TerrAlign, Mr. DerSimonian had worked on various government related analytics and optimization based projects, including one funded by the National Science Foundation. He has a Master of Science in Engineering, Operations Research, from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science, Mathematics, from Brandeis University.
Chris Oosthuizen joined TerrAlign as Director of Software Development in 2007 and leads all R&D efforts. He brings with him 20 years of experience in software development, including coding, project management - including a project with upwards to 1.5 million lines of code, and significant experience in establishing policies, processes and procedures to benefit the end product. Prior to TerrAlign, Chris served as Technical Director of Software Engineering at OAK Management. Chris received his Bachelor Degree in Military Science at University of Stellenbosch, South Africa. And, in case you are wondering, his last name is pronounced "Wist-hay-zen."
